MEET THE MAESTRO
CHEF MAURO SANTARELLI

Mauro Santarelli is an Argentinian-born culinary expert whose journey spans South America, Europe, and Asia. With deep roots in Argentinian food traditions and a background in agriculture, Mauro brings a farm-to-flame philosophy to his cooking. His global experience includes leading roles in Spain, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates — most notably developing the award-winning Maté restaurant concept in Abu Dhabi. Now based in Bali as the Executive Chef of Chupacabras and Arriba, Mauro is celebrated for his bold South American grill creations, infused with Indonesian spices and prepared over open flame, with a focus on quality and authenticity.
